Four requirements. That's the whole list.
Spain has sworn translators. Britain doesn't — no state register, no Home Office licence, no company that can hold an official accreditation. What the rules govern is the document: it has to be complete, and it has to carry a signed statement from whoever produced it. Notarisation is not on the list for UKVI.
So the question in the caseworker's head isn't "is this person licensed?" — it's "who's accountable here, and could I reach them?" That's why we print the reviewing translator's name, their CIOL or ITI number, and a verification link. Tell us at checkout who's receiving it and we format for that reader. A UKVI statement must include

Yes. UKVI asks for four things: the full document translated, a signed confirmation it's accurate, the date, and the translator's name and contact details. Every certificate we issue carries all four, plus a membership number anyone can check.

How quickly do I get it?
Within 24 hours by email, as a PDF. Order in the morning and it's usually the same day; posted copies take another one to three working days.
What if it's rejected?
